What Borders Between Shenzhen & Hong Kong Are Open

IMPORTANT: As of February 28, 2020, Shenzhen Shekou Port has announced plans to make the following adjustments to the ferry service during the coronavirus epidemic.
ALL ferry services between Hong Kong International Airport and Shenzhen Shekou Port will be suspended as of February 29 until further notice, see further details below:
The ferry between Shenzhen Shekou Port and Hong Kong International airport is currently operating as per the schedule below. Please note that it takes approximately 30 minutes to travel the distance, and that you should allocate more time than usual to your travel schedule as apparently medical checks in place may delay your departure somewhat.
Shekou Port – Hong Kong International Airport:
Shekou Port – Zhuhai Jiuzhou Port:
Please note: The Mandatory 14-Day Quarantine period for ALL People Entering Hong Kong from Mainland China does not apply to those going to Hong Kong International Airport from Shekou Port on the ferry.
Shekou – Macau Route:
From February 20, 2020 the Ferry between Shekou and Macau will be closed until further notice.
Shekou -Hong Kong Macau Ferry Terminal (Central) & Hong Kong – Macau Route (Closed):
Please note that Hong Kong Macau Ferry Terminal in Sheung Wan will be temporarily closed from February 2, 2020. Ferries between Shenzhen Shekou Port and Hong Kong Macau Ferry Terminal (Central) will also be suspended until further notice.
Due to the closure of the Hong Kong & Macau Ferry Terminals, all routes in Central will be suspended from February 4th, and the specific recovery time will be notified separately.
All borders crossings between Shenzhen and Hong Kong are now closed except for Shenzhen Bay, however a mandatory 14 day quarantine period is now in effect for entering Hong Kong through this border.
Due to the impact of the epidemic, you are reminded to wear a mask when boarding a passenger ship. In order to travel smoothly, please pay attention to the latest entry requirements of the destination in advance.
